Petaluma, Calif. – Nortek’s Core Brands company appointed Steve Jain to the existing position of retail sales director to build the company’s presence in the consumer retail channel for the Korus brand of wireless-multiroom audio products.
Jain’s industry experience includes stints at DEI Holdings, Denon, Boston Acoustics, JVC, Marantz and Panasonic.
Jain comes to Core Brands from DEI, where he was director of sales for the BOOM youth-oriented audio brand. He was at D&M Holdings from 2010 to 2012, starting as channel-development manager for business development and strategy for e-commerce, channel-management and headphone development before becoming national sales manager for Denon, Boston Acoustics, and Marantz. From 2006 until 2010, he was national accounts manager and then strategic business GM for JVC mobile electronics.
Core Brands markets 12 audio, power-management and control brands. They are ATON, BlueBOLT, ELAN, Emphasys, Furman, Korus, Niles, Panamax, Proficient, SpeakerCraft, Sunfire and Xantech.
