Beaumont, Texas - Conn's has extended its agreement with Assurant Solutions to offer product protection and repair service plans to Conn's customers.
Assurant Solutions has provided extended-service protection plans for Conn's since 1998, and the deal extends the contract for five years.
The program protects customers if their covered products malfunction, and is an important component of the value proposition that Conn's delivers to consumers, the retailer said.
Conn's will continue to offer product protection and repair service plans under the agreement to all shoppers who purchase consumer electronics, home appliances or computers at any of their 71 retail and clearance stores, the chain said.
Mike Poppe, Conn's chief financial officer, commented, "We believe it is important for us to offer our customers the ability to protect themselves against the risk of unplanned repair expenses related to the products they buy from us and that are important to their daily lives. Additionally, the repair service agreement enables the customer to make sure the products they finance with us continue to work while they are making their monthly payments."
