Dallas — CompUSA announced a partnership with NetSuite to supply small- to medium-sized business with various business software applications and technical support.

The deal will have CompUSA’s outbound sales force, and in a test run the sales associates in 10 New York and Connecticut stores sell NetSuite’s business software, said Bill Maddox, CompUSA’s commercial sales and technology training VP. The software suites are geared toward companies containing between two and 200 employees that had used off-the-shelf software like QuickBooks or Microsoft Office to run their business, but now found themselves requiring something more robust, Maddox said.

“We are supplying all this so the SMB can concentrate on their business and not worry about the technical end,” he said.
