CompUSA To Conduct Business Technology Seminars

Dallas — CompUSA will hold a series of monthly seminars called “Put Technology To Work” for its small- and medium-business customers.

The seminars, the first of which was held on Aug. 29, will take place once per month at each of the chain’s 103 stores nationwide and are to be conducted by the store’s personnel in the facility’s training center. There is no charge to attend, but those interested are asked to reserve a place either at www.compusabusiness.com or in their local branch.

Those attending are broken into two groups according to the size of their business — those with one to 20 employees, and those with 20 to 100 employees — so the class can be tailored to their specific needs.

The next seminar, discussing licensing, is scheduled for Sept. 20 with one following each month through the end of the year. Although a schedule has not been finalized, the program may continue in 2008, a CompUSA spokesperson said.
