Richmond, Va. — Circuit City has established memorial funds to aid the families of the four employees, two business partners and two pilots killed last week in the crash of a company jet in Colorado.
In a statement, chairman/CEO Alan McCollough described the victims as “exceptional people. They represented honor and professionalism, and we were privileged to call them friends and colleagues.”
The Circuit City employees were Vincent Choe, 32, senior analyst/financial planning; David Coffman, 34, manager/financial planning; Kyle Harmon, 26, senior analyst/product lifecycle; and Aaron Iskowitz, 35, buyer/merchandising technology.
Also killed were John Jorgensen of Infinitive and David Winston of IBM, and two Martinair pilots.
The turbojet went down just outside Pueblo Memorial Airport on a refueling stop in poor visibility.
Circuit City initially withheld the names of the crash victims to protect their families’ privacy, but released them this morning after holding a memorial service at company headquarters yesterday. Contributions to any of the eight memorial funds can be made at any Wachovia bank branch.
