CES Unveiled Expands To Stockholm

Arlington, Va. — The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) has expanded its CES Unveiled events to Stockholm, Sweden, to be held Monday, Oct. 29, and it set the schedule for the three others in the series.

The Stockholm expansion marks the fourth Unveiled event scheduled in advance of the 2013 International CES, which will be held in Las Vegas, Jan. 8-11, 2013.

CES Unveiled events, for media and analysts, offer a special opportunity to meet face to face with the exhibitors that are launching the next generation of technology devices and services. Executives from the CEA’s market research department will examine holiday sales, the hot tech trends, and what to expect for the year ahead in the $1 trillion consumer technology market.

Additionally, CEA president and CEO Gary Shapiro will provide insight into what to expect at this year’s CES, with exclusive show announcements at each event.

The newest CES Unveiled will be held at the World Trade Center Stockholm and is designed as a regional event with presentations from senior executives from the CEA’s market research team on holiday sales and hot tech trends forecasts. It’s geared toward top journalists from Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden, and will also feature CES news announcements.

Dates and locations for the other CES Unveiled events are as follows:

New York: Monday, Nov. 12, at the Metropolitan Pavilion.

London: Thursday, Nov. 15, Inmarsat Conference Centre

Las Vegas: The official press event of International CES will be held on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, Mandalay Bay, Level 3, South Seas Ballroom C.
