Arlington, Va. – The Consumer Electronics Association announced today that Microsoft’s Bill Gates will once again kick off the International Consumer Electronics Show with his traditional pre-show keynote address.
Gates will be joined by Toshihiro Sakamoto, president, Panasonic AVC Networks Co. and Paul Otellini, Intel’s CEO.
Gates’ address will take place the evening of Jan. 6, 2008, while Sakamoto’s will follow on the morning of Jan. 7. Otellini is slated for the afternoon of Jan. 7.
Rick Wagoner, chairman/CEO of General Motors, will deliver a keynote address at the 2008 International CES, according to the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the show’s producer.
Wagoner joins a lineup of CES keynote speakers, including executives from Microsoft, Panasonic and Intel, slated to make major presentations at CES. The 2008 International CES will return to Las Vegas, Jan. 7-10, 2008.
Wagoner’s keynote address is slated for day two of the show, Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 4:30 p.m., and will mark General Motors’ first keynote address at the International CES.

All CES keynotes will take place in the Venetian Hotel’s Palazzo Ballroom.
