CES 2011: Campaigners Renamed Integrated

LAS VEGAS – Leading field
marketing agency Campaigners is merging with sister field events company
Marketration under the new name Integrated Marketing Services.

Corporate parent
Advantage Sales & Marketing (ASM) said the merger will allow its
subsidiaries to better serve the CE and consumer packaged goods industries with
innovative and effective retail events, offering dealers and manufacturers “the
most comprehensive consumer-focused, shopper marketing services available.”

The newly-combined agency
will comprise the Experiential Marketing division of Integrated Marketing
Services, and joins ASM’s Irvine, Calif.-based Shopper Marketing division. The
Experiential Division will continue to focus on developing effective in-store
events, and will utilize its combined resources to launch more specialized and
targeted campaigns that can engage the masses or be customized to local markets,
Integrated said. Core services include sales
training, assisted sales, product demonstrations, merchandising, research, and
special events such as grand openings, festivals, road shows and mobile

“The Integrated Marketing
Services name better reflects our newly combined agency and the comprehensive
suite of marketing solutions we offer,” said ASM president Jill Griffin.

Campaigners was founded
in 1997 to help connect brands with their target consumers on the retail sales
floor.  It has since conducted thousands
of field sales and marketing programs for Fortune 500 companies and leading CE
brands. Following its acquisition in 2007 by ASM, a billion-dollar field sales
and marketing firm, Campaigners expanded into the mass merchant channel,
forging additional partnerships with leading retailers and consumer packaged
goods brands.

The merger and rebranding
was formally announced Thursday night at a launch event at the Blush Boutique
at the Wynn Hotel.
