Northbrook, Ill. – CED, a Midwest CE distributor and a
member of the PowerHouse Alliance, has hired three new managers.
Jan H. Boldt has
been hired as security solutions
director and will lead all of the security sales efforts for CED. He is
responsible for evaluating new security products and technologies to bring in
as offerings for customers.
Boldt was formerly strategic initiatives director for
Stanley Security Solutions and national sales manager for Mitsubishi Electric,
leading their security sales efforts in the U.S.
Andy Sharp, a
veteran of the CE industry since 1986 in retail, custom install and as a
manufacturer’s rep, has been hired as account manager at CED’s
new Bensenville,
Ill., location
,
whose opening was announced last month.
He will be responsible for customer sales and satisfaction
by streamlining customer will call sales and service, and building a product
mix to make CED a one-stop shopping destination, the distributor said.
Dick Donovan was
also added as an account manager
for
CED, also based out of the new Bensenville location. Donovan is said to have experience in the CE
retail and custom-installation businesses.
