New York – The Consumer Electronics Association will present an HDTV Update Session for interested parties in the retail, broadcast, cable TV and content or programming industries between 8:30 a.m. and Noon, Nov. 10 in the Lotus Suite at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City.
The event, which is free of charge to eligible industry members, will present the CEA’s latest statistics and sales trends and will give attendees an opportunity to discuss recent developments in the analog to DTV transition with industry peers.
Key topics at the Update Session will include the DTV Tuner Mandate, and the arrival of Digital Cable Ready sets
Retailers will also have access to other CEA information on the digital television transition that can be used to help inform customers.
