CEA Names Oxman Senior VP

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) has announced several staff changes, including the promotion of Jason Oxman as industry affairs senior VP, a new position.

In Oxman’s new role, he adds management of the market research and strategic relations departments to his existing responsibility for communications and member relations.

Todd Thibodeaux, industry relations senior VP and an 18-year veteran with CEA, will be leaving the association this month to pursue other opportunities, according to a CEA statement.

John Tunnell has been promoted to member relations VP. He will be responsible for all CEA divisions and membership relations and will continue to report to Oxman.

Annemarie Ramirez has been promoted to human resources senior VP. She will continue to oversee employee benefits, recruiting, training and retention of CEA’s 155 employees.

Laura Hudson has added the title of corporate secretary to her position as manager, office of the president.

Gary Shapiro, president/CEO of CEA, said in a statement, “I am thrilled to see our employees advance. There is obvious bench strength in CEA. The industry entrusts their interests to us, and I am proud that we have a strong group of employees. The promotions today reflect high recognition from a talented pool of those who serve the consumer electronics industry full time.”
