Arlington, Va. - The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) introduced its Electronics Industry Business Directory, an online tool available to all CEA members.
The directory can be found from a link on
and will feature a range of products and services exclusively for the consumer electronics industry. Users have the option of performing keyword-driven searches, or a category-specific search.
The directory is a result of a partnership with MultiView, an Irving, Texas-based publisher of electronic buyer and supplier guides.
"This directory will serve as an online resource for products and services offered by CEA members. Much like the International CES, this directory will help facilitate business relationships between our diverse membership," said Jason Oxman, industry affairs senior VP, CEA. "This powerful new tool joins a growing list of benefits offered to CEA members to help expand their business and the industry as a whole."
The directory also includes request for information (RFI) functionality, allowing users to contact participating suppliers. CEA members can also search for items directly from a search window on their desktops by downloading the desktop search application.
"Along with the option to purchase a graphically robust company listing, direct website hyperlink and e-mail generation capacity, the guide allows supplier companies to add videos to their listings. This feature gives guide users immediate access to video information and promotions that will help them easily procure products and services specific to their needs," CEA said in a release.
