CEA To Hold D.C. Events April 24, 25

Arlington, Va. – The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)
will hold its annual CES on the Hill and Digital Patriots Dinner on April 24
and 25.

CES on the Hill returns to the nation’s capital on April 24.
The event provides policy makers the opportunity to interact with the
technology companies and products that are changing the way we live, work and
play, CEA said.

Members of Congress, key Hill staff and D.C. media will
experience the technologies at the center of today’s policy debates. The event
will take place on April 24 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a media preview at 5:30
p.m. at the cafeteria (RM-B-357) of the Rayburn House Office Building
Independence Avenue and South Capitol Street in Washington.

Also, the eighth annual Digital Patriots Dinner, scheduled
for April 25, will recognize Digital Patriots Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR) and
Representative Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) for their support of technology
innovation. David Rubenstein, managing director, Carlyle Group, also will be
honored for his role in advancing technology.

The dinner is on April 25 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at
the Newseum 555 Pennsylvania Ave. NW in Washington.

Proceeds from the Digital Patriots Dinner will be donated to
the Ron Brown Scholar Program. Named for the late Secretary of Commerce, and
inspired by his dedication to public service, the Ron Brown Scholar Program
provides scholarships and support for bright but economically challenged
African-Americans seeking higher education.
