Casio debuted its first Exilim-series digital cameras to offer an anti-shake mode for reducing the effects of blur.
The EX-Z110 and EX-Z120 will ship in September and will offer an anti-shake scene mode, in addition to a 3x optical zoom lens, 2-inch TFT LCD screen with an optical viewfinder and VGA video capture at 28 frames per second.
The models also offer automatic macro focusing, continuous shooting modes and a high-sensitivity mode for shooting in low-light environments. A “movie print” mode lets users convert movie files to still images for printing. Video clips can be edited in-camera.
The 7-megapixel EX-Z120 will carry a suggested retail price of $329. It offers 32 Best Shot scene modes, a 1.3 second start-up time and can snap 170 shots on a pair of AA batteries. It will also offer automatic and manual exposure controls.
The 6-megapixel EX-Z110 features 28 Best Shot scene modes, and a 1.5 second start-up time. It will retail for a suggested $279.
