Queens, N.Y. –
Distributor Cardinal Electronics hosted more than 100 CE dealers and custom
installers at its annual dealer show here earlier this month.
The event drew
customers from throughout the greater New York metro area who viewed product
demonstrations, participated in training sessions and took advantage of special
show-only pricing programs.
Manufacturers
showing their wares included BDI, Boston Acoustics, Denon, JVC, Philips,
Proficient Audio, Sanus, Yamaha, and the newest addition to Cardinal’s vendor
roster, Haier.
Haier displayed
its new Blu-ray Disc player, which offers a premium feature set at a
competitive price, while JVC exhibited its highly-rated JVC Procision DILA
front projector to an enthusiastic audience, Cardinal reported.
Yamaha used the
occasion to offer in-depth custom-installer education classes on its new
Aventage line of home-theater receivers that’s aimed at the professional home
integrator market, and with two-hour classes that gave installers the opportunity
to work with the A/V receivers.
