Eagan, Minn. – Capitol, distributor for residential systems contractors, retailers, PRO AV contractors, and premium incentive resellers, has added Parasound Products to its high performance audio/video product selection.
“Mention Parasound and an audiophile’s ears automatically perk up,” comments Curt Hayes, Capitol’s president and CFO. “From traditional audio gear to home theater equipment that taps into the best of current technologies, Parasound is guaranteed to put a smile on the faces of the most demanding end-users.”
Capitol said it now offers Parasound’s popular Z-Custom line of innovative compact components that can fit two-abreast in a single rack space and the full-size NewClassic line of high-power stereo components.
The Parasound line-up includes highly acclaimed new models such as the Zdac, 192 kHz Digital to Analog Converter that gives consumers the highest possible sound quality when playing digital music files from computers via USB, or from a CD player, Sonos, or other digital media players via optical or coaxial digital connections. Zdac is available in either a black finish with rack-mounting tabs or the new silver finish without rack-mount tabs.
Also new is Parasound’s Zamp Quattro, a four-channel/two-zone power amplifier with the same 9.5” wide and one rack space tall form factor as all Z-Custom components, and an ideal solution for any number of challenging installation scenarios. For customers who need more power, the amazing NewClassic Model 2250 delivers 250 watts into 8-ohm stereo speakers or 700 watts bridged to mono.
“Of all the distributors catering to CE and CI specialists, Capitol is one of a very select group that actually understands and responds to their customers’ needs rather than simply trying to sell them the most expensive gear in the warehouse,” said Richard Schram, president and founder of Parasound Products. “Their limitless focus on customer support is what makes them the perfect distribution partner for our brand. We’re thrilled to have them on the team!”
