Distributor Capitol Sales said October marked its highest monthly revenue in its 32-year history and it is continuing.
“Our dealers are paying attention to the economic environment like everyone is,” said Curt Hayes, Capitol Sales’ president and chief financial officer. “But they are being smart and strategic about how they place orders and how they maximize all that we offer them as a distribution partner. One of our strong focus areas is to build even stronger relationships with our key vendors. That allows us the opportunity to take advantage of special purchase arrangements available on behalf of our dealers. Every day, we evaluate the best deals to offer our partners.”
In other news, Capitol Sales has recently filled its calendar with various educational opportunities for dealers.
The distributor hosted a class to certify dealers on the Mitel 3000 telephone system at its headquarters last month and it also plans to host a one-day programming seminar on Universal Remote Control’s MX-6000 color touch-screen remote control there on November 13. Additionally, Capitol Sales held three classes — Communications in the Home, IP Network Cameras and Digital Surveillance, and The Basics of Commercial Audio and 70-Volt Systems — last week during EHX 2008 in Long Beach, Calif.
