St. Paul, Minn. — Capitol Sales Company expects to broaden the reach of its educational offerings when it launches the Capitol Sales Learning Institute — Regional Outreach program in April 2009 in partnership with CEDIA On The Road.
The program will allow Capitol to bring its spate of CEDIA training courses to dealers in six regions throughout 2009.
“The first step we’re taking with our new Learning Institute will provide a dramatically improved version of our annual Dealer Education and Technology Showcase,” said Curt Hayes, president and CFO. “Providing additional convenience and accessibility for dealers is a cornerstone of the program. More dealers will benefit from educational opportunities closer to home, which will save them travel time and cost.”
CEDIA On The Road, Capitol’s partner in this endeavor, will hold courses from CEDIA University On The Road in conjunction with the Capitol Sales Learning Institute — Regional Outreach courses.
The distributor said all of its classes will be taught by CEDIA-certified instructors and participating dealers will receive CEU credits through CEDIA University.
Following is the program’s schedule:
· April 19-21, 2009 – Seattle
· May 3-5, 2009 — San Francisco
· May 17-19, 2009 — Dallas
· June 7-9, 2009 — Philadelphia
· July 12-14, 2009 — Chicago
· Nov. 15-17, 2009 — Tampa, Fla.
The company said more details about the program will be available in the first quarter.
