Lake Success, N.Y. — Canon U.S.A. said Wednesday it will issue a firmware update for the EOS 5D Mark II digital SLR camera as a download in early June, enabling manual exposure control.
Canon said the update “will accommodate a great number of user requests for manual exposure control in the EOS 5D Mark II video mode.”
Canon expects that manual exposure control while shooting video on the EOS 5D Mark II will make a big impact with cinematographers and videographers using the camera for high-end HD video production.
