Minneapolis — Best Buy said Tuesday it is now selling Canon’s new advanced midrange EOS 70D DSLR through its BestBuy.com e-commerce store.
“We now have the Canon 70D available on BestBuy.com, and all orders include free expedited shipping through Sept. 7,” the retailer said.
The store is offering the 70D in three different package SKUs:
• Canon EOS 70D DSLR (body only) for $1,199; model 8469B002, Best Buy SKU 8896099;

Canon is calling the 70D their “game-changing camera for serious photographers and semi-professionals,” in part because the camera features a newly advanced Dual Pixel CMOS autofocus system that “unlocks the potential of Live View.”
The hybrid AF system allows capturing video in Live View with smooth and precise autofocus similar to that of a camcorder, with high image quality.
