B&W Group’s Wellikoff Retires

North Reading, Mass. — Peter Wellikoff will retire at the end of the month as president of the B&W Group’s North American operation after 12 years in that position.

“While placing a greater focus on my family and community is a priority, I plan to stay involved in consumer electronics serving as a PARA board member and continue my volunteer work for the CEA while exploring additional industry related opportunities,” Wellikoff said.

Said Joe Atkins, group chairman/CEO, “Peter has done an outstanding job helping to develop a world-class organization and leaves behind a track record to be proud of.”

During his tenure, Wellikoff was responsible for the growth and development of the Bowers & Wilkins, Classe Audio and Rotel brands in North America, the company said. The brands are marketed in more than 60 countries worldwide via B&W’s wholly owned and independent distributors. B&W Group is headquartered in Worthing, England, and maintains a U.S. office here in North Reading with Equity International, a subsidiary that distributes the brands throughout North America.

Wellikoff can be contacted at: [email protected].
