Miami - Al Burdett rejoined Niles Audio after an absence of about six years as product VP responsible for strategic planning, product marketing and program management.
Burdett was with Niles from 1992 through 2003 and held the marketing VP title for more than a decade. The appointment marks his return to the CE industry after an absence of a few years, the company said.
"We'll look to leverage [Burdett's] years of industry experience, creative thinking and leadership ability to achieve the company's goals," said Niles president Frank Sterns.
As marketing VP, Burdett was responsible for marketing, brand development and many aspects of product development, including product design and ergonomics, the company said.
Mike Detmer remains sales and marketing VP.
