LAS VEGAS– Buffalo Technology will introduce three new network-attached storage (NAS) devices in its LinkStation 400 series this week.
The new entries are the LinkStation 410D, LinkStation 420D and the Link- Station 421E. All will begin shipping in May.
All three devices feature a 1.2GHz dual-core ARM processor with 512MB of DDR3 memory with a data transfer speed of 80MBps.
There is remote file access via the BuffaloLink Cloud service.
The 410D is a single drive unit that will come in 1TB, 2TB, 3TB and 4TB capacities with a starting price of $199.
The 420D is a dual-drive model, with dual RAID capability and a starting price of $299. It will come in 2TB, 4TB, 6TB and 8TB capacities.
The 421E is an empty enclosure, allowing the user to buy and add there own hard drive. It also features dual RAID, and it will carry a $149 price tag.
