Indianapolis –
Brightpoint North America entered into a logistic services agreement with
Lytro, maker of consumer light field cameras to provide fulfillment and
logistic services.
The Lytro light
field camera enables a photographer to take a picture and refocus it later on a
computer or the camera’s touchscreen. Unlike conventional cameras, Lytro
cameras capture the entire light field, which includes the direction of light.
The ability to capture that additional information, along with Lytro’s image-processing
software, is what allows the user to refocus the picture after the fact, the
distributor said.
The Lytro camera
recently won top prize in the annual Last Gadget Standing competition during
International CES.
