Orlando, Fla. — Brand Source announced at this week’s MARTA convention here that it is developing a private-label program of premium kitchen appliances, including built-in refrigerators, dishwashers and cooking products.
No details on specs, pricing, sourcing or brand name were available on the luxury line, although the buying group indicated that the products’ quality and features will be consistent with today’s ultra-premium appliances.
The collection will launch late in the second quarter and will be offered exclusively to Brand Source members. Brand Source said the proprietary line would prove highly profitable for member dealers, who can purchase the products at exclusive member pricing, allowing them to better compete in the premium majap market.
