Arlington Heights, Ill. - Bang & Olufsen will officially open a new showroom in Hallandale Beach, Fla., in the Village of Gulfstream Park, on Thursday, March 24.
The 1,470-square-foot showroom will provide the complete Bang & Olufsen product portfolio in addition to personalized custom-installation capabilities for both commercial and residential properties, the company said.
"Bang & Olufsen Gulfstream is currently our third store in Florida and it represents our strong and growing presence in the South Florida market, said Zean Nielsen, president of Bang & Olufsen America.
"With an amazing product portfolio, expert sales force, highly experienced custom installers, and beautiful new showroom location, we are eager to provide the Bang & Olufsen experience to music lovers, design enthusiasts, and South Florida residents and visitors," said Robert Melnick, co-owner of Bang & Olufsen Gulfstream.
The showroom will also present some new, products launched this fiscal year. They include the BeoSound 8, Bang & Olufsen's first iPad/iPod/iPhone docking station, known for its sonic performance (covers low bass tones down to 38 Hz and higher frequencies 24,000 Hz), compact form and distinct design. It is also one of the few docking stations on the market that is directly compatible with the iPad, without having to use additional wires or adapters, the company said.
The BeoVision 10 LED television family, now available in 32-inch, 40-inch and 46-inch versions, will also be available. The BeoVision 10 portfolio features the latest LED and picture-improvement technologies, a double-sided anti-reflective-coated contrast screen, five placement options, an active two-way loudspeaker system, and a frameless design resulting in optimal picture and sound performance with a floating glass appearance.
A grand-opening customer event will be held on March 24 starting at 7 p.m.
