Waterloo, Canada – The Amazon MP3 store has become the latest
music-download site with a BlackBerry app, joining such download sites as 7digital
and Puretracks.
All of the sites enable over-the-air music downloading via Wi-Fi
or cellular directly to BlackBerry phones.
, available in beta on BlackBerry App World, gives users in the
U.S. access to Amazon’s catalog of more than 14 million songs, exceeding the 3.4
million songs available through each of the other two sites.
The Amazon MP3 app lets users browse, preview, download, store,
and tell friends about your favorites via BBM, email, SMS, Socials Feeds,
Facebook, and Twitter.
Other key features include browsing for songs to download by new,
deals, top songs, top albums, genres, and sub genres. Users can also preview a
30-second sample before buying.
