Arlington, Va. – Brian Dunn, CEO of Best Buy, will be a
featured speaker during the 2012 International CES in a discussion on global
retailing.
Dunn joins Gary Shapiro, president/CEO of the Consumer
Electronics Association (CEA) in an event called “CES SuperSession: A Global
Perspective On Retail” on January 11 at 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. in the Las Vegas
Convention Center, North Hall, N255-257.
Dunn and CEA’s Shapiro, whose association is owner and
producer of International CES, will have a one-on-one discussion about the current
state of retail and what new strategic areas retailers are looking at.
CEA said the executives will discuss how the 2011 holiday
sales season turned out, discuss Internet sales tax, leadership, and
international expansion, among other topics.
CEA added that attendees will “Find out what retailers are
doing to stay on top in this unpredictable climate.”
The 2012 International CES is being held in Las Vegas from
Tuesday, January 10 to Friday, January 13.
