Minneapolis, Minn. – Best Buy announced more management changes this morning in the wake of Brad Anderson’s succession to CEO.
Among the latest reassignments:
- Phil Schoonover, formerly executive VP/digital solutions, to executive VP/business development, reporting to Anderson.
- John Walden, formerly president of BestBuy.com, to executive VP/human capital and leadership, a new position also reporting to Anderson. No successor was named to BestBuy.com.
- Mike Linton, formerly senior VP/strategic marketing, to executive VP/consumer and brand marketing, and chief marketing officer for the company’s seven brands, reporting to president/COO Allen Lenzmeier.
- Brian Dunn, formerly senior VP of one of Best Buy’s three retail sales divisions, to executive VP/retail sales. He succeeds, and reports to, Mike Keskey, who succeeded Lenzmeier as president of Best Buy Stores.
