McLean, Va. - Forthcoming satellite delivered home entertainment service
said Thursday that it has reached a deal with digital projector resource
to bundle the W6000 projector with an XStreamHD Fast Start package when purchased through Amazon.com or Projector People.
This promotion will begin May 1, when XStreamHD's service is scheduled to formally launch.
The W6000 projector uses DLP and advanced BrilliantColor processing technology to deliver high brightness levels and contrast ratios.
XStreamHD's entertainment solution delivers FullHD (1080p) video and up to 7.1 channels of lossless audio, including DTS-HD Master Audio and FLAC, directly to the home via satellite, providing consumers with the very latest movies, music and electronic games in higher-quality formats than are commercially available from other digital delivery content services.
The XStreamHD Fast Start features an HD media server (starting with 1TB of storage) and one HD media receiver that decodes FullHD content, delivering the highest-quality video resolution supported by today's sophisticated HDTVs.
Additionally, the HD media server can multi-stream entertainment content across a home network to televisions equipped with an HD media receiver or to any DNLA-certified media device in the home, including laptops, audio equipment and game consoles.
Recently, the XStreamHD Fast Start was honored with a 2010 International CES Innovations Award for excellence in engineering design and consumer innovation.
"Our partnership will enable W6000 purchasers to maximize their entertainment experience by delivering the highest quality movie content that can be enjoyed with BenQ's amazing picture quality," stated George Gonzalez, founder and CEO of XStreamHD.
"We are committed to building relationships with leading equipment manufacturers, like BenQ, so that consumers can have access to the highest quality entertainment that today's sophisticated HDTV's were designed to support."

Consumers who purchase their W6000 at Amazon.com or at ProjectorPeople.com will receive their XStreamHD Fast Start package approximately 30 days following the purchase of their W6000 projector.
The XStreamHD Fast Start includes an HD media server with 1TB of storage, an HD media receiver, an RF One remote control and required accessories.
Buyers also have the option to upgrade the storage capacity of their HD media servers and will be able to set up a professional installation or self-installation directly through XStreamHD.
