Morganville, N.J. - Bell'o International today announced a new line of HDMI 1.4 cables, the first on the market to be Simplay HD 2.0 certified.

The Simplay HD 2.0 certification assures compatibility with new audio and video features enabled by the new HDMI 1.4 standard, including 3D support, audio return channel, HDMI Ethernet channel, additional color spaces, 4K support and content type. The cables are backward compatible with all HDMI-enabled devices on the market today and will be future-ready as device manufacturers implement more 1.4 features going forward.

Marc Sculler, CEO of Bell'O International, commented: "Bell'O is committed to providing the finest home entertainment experience that today's digital components can offer. We're pleased to be the first to meet and exceed Simplay Labs stringent 2.0 performance requirements, which assures consumers of total compatibility with all the new HDMI 1.4 features which will begin appearing on the market this year."

"Bell'O has always shown us they want their products to be the best," said Damon Vanderhorst, operations director for Simplay Labs. "We're excited to continue our relationship and award them the very first Simplay HD certification for HDMI cables under our new Simplay HD 2.0 test spec. Ultimately this means that Bell'O's retailers and consumers get the best experience possible."

The cables are built with Lifejacket cable covering for flexibility and durability. Their conductors employ 99.99 percent oxygen-free copper and 24K gold-plated connections.
