Wayne, N.J. — Karl Bearnarth, senior marketing VP for the JVC consumer A/V group, left the company to pursue other opportunities, the company confirmed.
Bearnarth was a 19-year veteran of JVC, starting there in April 1995 after having served a year at Onkyo USA and a year at appliance/electronics chain Silo as an audio buyer, according to his LinkedIn biography.
“It was his decision to leave to pursue other opportunities,” a spokesman said. “There were no other departures. … This was not part of a staff reduction. No decision has yet been made regarding filling that position.”
