B2 Adds To MiJam, MiTech Lines

B2 will show new additions to its MiJam and MiTech product lines at the 2008 American International Toy Fair, being held here next week.

The MiJam line is a series of musical instruments that are said to work along with digital music players such as the iPod so that the listener can participate and “jam along” with the music.

New MiJam products include:

  • the Pro Air Drummer*, which is said to simulate a full drum set. It comes with wireless drumsticks, wireless base drum foot pedal, a wireless speaker and it features six “built-in rhythms” and offers volume and temp control. It comes equipped with an audio out jack and an audio in cable ($59.99 suggested retail);
  • the Drummer 2 is a set of motion activated drumsticks offering six “real drum sounds” ($29.99);
  • the Studio Mike, a set of headphones with a built-in microphone that lets you sing along with your digital music player and that also works along with other MiJam devices. ($19.99); and
  • the Laser Light Show, a round speaker that plays music while projecting a laser light show on a wall or ceiling ($49.99).

Beyond MiJam, B2 is also adding to its MiTech line of PC accessories with the PC Gizmo, an interactive character that connects to a computer and alerts the user when they have email, instant messages and Internet calls. The USB connected device has a suggested price of $29.99.

According to a spokesperson, all of the aforementioned products will be available in July. 

*Editor’s note: At press time the suggested retail price for the Pro Air Drummer was listed at $59.99. A company spokesperson has informed TWICE that the price has since been changed and now the suggested retail price is $49.99.
