Santa Ana, Calif. – Averatec expanded its thin and light notebook line today with the addition of the N1579.
The new model is centered on an 11.1-inch display and is powered by an Intel ultra low voltage Core Duo U2400 processor. The unit comes with 1GB DDR2 of memory, 120GB hard drive, dual layer DVD burner and uses the Premium version of Microsoft’s Vista operating system. It is 1-inch thick and weighs 3.4 pounds.
The N1579 is now shipping to stores and selling direct from Averatec for $1,299.
