Boston — Luxury-audio start-up AudioXperts is expanding its staff again with the creation of the new position of manager of international sales support.
The company said it appointed Jakob Jespersen to the new position to further strengthen its relationships with international distributors and expand the company’s specialty-dealer network. Jesperson will develop, implement and manage customer support programs for the distributors and retailers.
Jespersen has more than 20 years of experience in the luxury consumer electronics industry and has held posts at Harman and Audio Pro.
Earlier this year, the company appointed industry veteran Hank Finke as sales director for North and South America to build the company’s distribution network throughout the two continents.
Finke and Jesperson join a staff that continues to include Mark Nazar as engineering director, Jeff Litcofsky as marketing and communications director, Marion “Chick” George, as sales operations director, and John Fischbach as product voicing director. All started as part-time employees but became full time.
AudioXperts was launched in the summer of 2012 by industry veteran Eli Harary to meet the underserved luxury-audio market with tabletop audio products, tabletop TV-audio platforms with swiveling bases, and lifestyle-oriented component speakers.
