Audiovox Bows Variety Of SKUs At SEMA Show

LAS VEGAS — Audiovox introduced at the SEMA show armed with a variety of car products, includ- ing the introduction of a rearview mirror with built- in navigation, and a new iPad mount and acces- sories line.

Debuting at the show is the NM100 rearview mir- ror with built-in iGo Primo navigation. It will ship in January for a $499 suggested retail. Features include 19 onscreen display languages; U.S. and Canada maps with 11 million points of interest; text-to-speech recorded voice guidance in three languages; built-in Bluetooth; internal mic, speak- ers and antenna; 4.3 LED digital monitor with touchscreen; and GM/Ford/Chrysler mounts. Ad- ditional mounts will be available separately.

Audiovox’s new rear-seat entertainment iPad mount line consists of four systems. Features for all models include a steel, low-profile protective case, and a Quick Connect mechanism with adjustable depth settings for docking and undocking.

The IPD-2FM for the iPad 2 has a built-in charg- ing port, dual-channel IR headphone transmitter and an FM transmitter. It’s currently available for a $149 suggested retail.

The IPD-2HP ($129) has the same features as the previous model but drops the FM transmitter.

The IPD-2C ($99.99) can be used with the iPad and iPad 2 and has the charging port, while the IPD-1 ($59.99) is just the steel protective case.

Audiovox will also show off its new headrest mounts that are compatible with the company’s ve- hicles iPad cases. The IPD-VDSC ($49.99) is com- patible with the IPD-2FM, IPD-2HP and IPD-2C. The IPD-VDS ($39.99) is compatible with the IPD-1.

The company will show its new vehicle sound- bars, which boast 10 hours of battery life, aux in- put, USB charging cable, audio input cable, and an attachment bracket for use with the company’s rear-seat entertainment cases. IPD-SBBT features Bluetooth 3.0 for $99.99, while the IPD-SB has a 3.5mm audio input for $89.99.
