Hauppauge, N.Y. – Audiovox added
two Bluetooth-enabled speakers, an under-cabinet light/speaker and the other a
portable model for use outdoors.
Both ship in November under the
Acoustic Research brand.
The $129-suggested under-cabinet
speaker also doubles as a Bluetooth hands-free speakerphone. The ASPB1 streams
music from mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets equipped with stereo
Bluetooth. The system features dual drivers that fire down, LED lights to
illuminate the countertop, and an omnidirectional microphone. It has a
stainless-steel-look finish.
The outdoor speaker is the $99-suggested AC/DC AWSBT1, which features weather-resistant cylindrical case, integrated carrying handle and two-way mono speaker system.
