Las Vegas -AudioControl added
multiple new features to its latest AV receiver, the Concert AVR-4 HD, which
offers such new capabilities as HDMI 1.4 inputs and outputs with 3D passthrough
and 1080p HDMI switching for up the five sources.
The 7×120-watt receiver (into 8
ohms), on display at CES, joins multiple audio components such as preamp
processors and amplifiers.
Features include Dolby Volume, Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio surround
decoding, compatibility with home-control systems, cool-running Class H
amplifier to make rack fans unnecessary, dual HDMI outputs, upscaling of analog
video inputs to 1080p HDMI, three-zone output, and Dolby Volume to level out
volume differences when switching sources or when TV commercials come on.
