New York — Both Atdec and Life-Tech announced additions to their mounting solutions lines.
Atdec introduced a TeleHook flat-panel TV mounting solution that is designed for LCD and plasma displays measuring 37 inches to 63 inches.
The TeleHook TH-37-63-AWM articulated-arm wall mount features lateral movement, a 180-degree pan from the wall, an adjustable tilt of +/- 15-degrees, twin articulating arms and a low-profile design that folds flat against the wall. It has a maximum distance from the wall of 28 inches and a minimum distance to the wall of 7.5 inches. A lateral arm adjustment at the wall plate enables the arm to be mounted “offset” from the center of the wall plate, increasing the unit’s mounting applications, said Atdec.
The TeleHook comes with a self-centering universal mount interface that enables installers to configure the bracket to match the display’s mounting hole pattern. It ships with a self-adhesive drilling template with a dust-collection pocket to catch any mess from the drilling process, a spring-supported tilting mechanism, a die-cast aluminum construction capable of holding up to 200 pounds and an integrated cable-management system.
It is currently shipping with an estimated street price of $479.
Lift-Tech said that its built-to-order motorized up/down LT-200 Series now comes with more options, including the LT-200-BP. A slim-profile backplate is meant to enable easier installations into ultra-thin profile furniture and cabinetry, including mobile cases.
The LT-200 backplate option allows the plasma TV to raise and lower without the use of an inner box. This option is available at no additional charge. The backplate consists of 1-inch square steel tube frame inset with 0.75-inch unfinished maple furniture-grade hardwood that can be veneered, stained or painted to match or complement the cabinet finish.
