Carlstadt, N.J. — Imaging supplier Argraph announced another model in its Zigview series of SLR viewfinders last week.
The Zigview S2 attaches to a digital SLR’s viewfinder and displays a live video feed on the unit’s 2.5-inch, 270,000-pixel LCD screen, giving SLR users the ability to preview images on an LCD monitor – which most d-SLRs cannot do.
The S2’s LCD can be rotated for capturing photos at different angles and features nine-zone TTL motion detection shutter release capabilities. The unit can also connect to external monitors via NTSC/PAL video outputs.
The S2 will join the existing Zigview B and R on the market. It ships immediately for an estimated $469.
