Cupertino, Calif. – The next
version of the operating system for Apple’s iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad will be
unveiled at next Monday’s Apple Worldwide Developers Conference, where Apple
CEO Steve Jobs will also unveil the next version of the Mac OS X.

Jobs will also unveil iCloud, the company’s
first foray into cloud services, presumably a cloud-based music service.

The next version of the
mobile-Device OS is called iOS5. The next version of the Max OS X is called
Lion, which will be the eighth major release of the OS.

 At the

conference

, the company will offer
more than 100 technical sessions presented by Apple engineers to learn how to
develop applications for the new OS X and learn the latest iOS details so they
can fully exploit the upgraded OS’s capabilities when they design apps for it,
the company said.
