Palo Alto, Calif. – AOC has
introduced and started shipping a portable monitor that is powered off a
computer’s USB port.
The AOC e1649fwu is a 15.6-inch
display intended for business presentations and other applications where a dual
monitor set up is needed, the company said. The monitor uses DisplayLink’s USB
2.0 virtual graphics and AOC DL-125 processor to create a dual-monitor setup by
just plugging it into the computer.
It is fully powered via the USB
connection.
The screen has a maximum resolution
of 1,366 by 768 and comes with a built-in stand.
It is available immediately from BestBuy.com,
Costco.com, hhgregg, Nebraska Furniture, TigerDirect.com and ABC Warehouse with
a $139 suggested retail.=
