Seattle — Amazon.com hired Paul Ryder to lead its CE business as VP of its electronics store.
Ryder joined the company from Honeywell International and had previously worked at GE. He fills a role left vacant by the departure of CE VP Glenn Cunningham 10 months ago.
News of Ryder’s appointment follows last week’s departure of Amazon veteran Frank Sadowski, the former VP of CE merchandising and global vendor management, who has joined D&M Holdings.
