Milford, Penn. – After conducting a year-long search, multimedia speaker maker Altec Lansing today named Mark Lucas president and CEO.
Lucas, who previously was Iomega’s executive vice president for global marketing, takes over from Tommy Friedman who filled in as acting president during the company’s hunt for a permanent replacement.
Friedman will return full-time to his prior position as Altec’s chief technology officer.
‘This is a challenging yet exciting time for Altec Lansing. Our award-winning products are garnering excellent reviews, and we have a strong product introduction pipeline. At the same time, we’re moving into new markets that hold considerable promise,’ Lucas said.
