San Francisco — Almo Professional A/V, the commercial arm of national CE/majaps distributor Almo, is bringing its E4 AV training and networking tour to the South San Francisco Conference Center April 25.

The free, day-long event, produced in partnership with InfoComm International, will feature educational courses worth InfoComm CTS renewal units, plus an exhibit floor offering sneak peeks at products that will debut at the forthcoming InfoComm show.

The event is the second stop on the E4 tour, which kicked off last month in Chicago.

Highlights will include exhibits by 35 manufacturers including new additions Elo Touch Systems, Hiperwall, Peerless AV, TouchSystems, Rane and Samsung Hospitality. Products will include Planar’s 84-inch 4K resolution display, BrightSign’s XD media players, and Sharp’s latest 70-inch and 80-inch LED smart TVs with Quattron color technology.

Also on hand will be FourSquare’s mosaic architectural video wall sculpture, comprised of LCD video tiles; LG’s live demo/test-drive station for Ez Sign’s content creation/CMS system; and Raffi Vartian, COO of SignageLive, a cloud-based media delivery and support company, who will demonstrate Samsung’s new SoC technology.

More information and registration is available online.

The E4 AV program can also be accessed on demand during and after each event for instructor videos, copies of the course presentations and live Twitter updates.
