Philadelphia — National CE and appliance distributor Almo is co-sponsoring a hometown food festival here with Gerhard’s Appliance, a local dealer customer.
The two will join a roster of sponsors for Philadelphia Taste, an annual food, wine and spirits festival that will be held Oct. 18-20 at the Valley Forge Casino Resort.
Almo and Gerhard’s co-sponsorship includes featured products from premium majap makers Liebherr and Capital. Liebherr refrigerators will be featured on the main stage while Capital range tops will be put to the test during live culinary demonstrations by local chefs Tony Clark, Paul Drew, Rocky Fino, Darryl Harmon, Geoff Johnson, Maria Liberati, Ralph Mazzocchi, Michael Scipione and Barry Sexton. The chefs will also discuss important product features and tips throughout the demonstrations.
The sponsorship also includes branded signage for Liebherr, Capital and Gerhard’s, a premium majap and home-theater dealer with five Philly-area locations. Besides Liebherr and Capital, Almo also provides Gerhard’s with white goods from Faber, Frigidaire, LG and Samsung.
The 2013 Philadelphia Taste festival will also include appearances by celebrity chef Gabriele Corcos and chef and actress Debi Mazar, hosts of the Cooking Channel show “Extra Virgin.”
