New York – Sirius Satellite Radio announced that it will sell Sirius-ready products through Advance Auto Parts, an auto parts chain with over 2,500 stores.
Beginning this month, Advance Auto Parts will sell a Sirius plug-and-play receiver from Audiovox, called the CMB2 jam-pack, at $149.98.The package includes a mobile docking station for the car and an antenna. Sirius said that selling through Advance Auto Parts will allow it to reach new consumers.
Separately, Sirius announced that it launched a new call-in talk radio channel called Sirius Patriot. The channel is dedicated to conservative American values.
Part of the channel’s programming will include an overnight feed of The Pentagon Channel, which will broadcast news such as Defense Department news briefings and interviews with top defense officials, Sirius said.
