Adobe Revises Photoshop.com Storage Offer

San Jose, Calif. — Adobe said it would offer 2GB of free storage to Photoshop.com basic members, not the 5GB it had originally stated.

Photoshop.com is an online service designed to complement the firm’s Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements software, new versions of which were released last week.

Buyers of either Elements programs can sign up for two levels of Photoshop.com member — basic or plus.

A plus membership, for $49 a year, provides 20GB of off-site storage plus a regular stream of new templates and seasonal artwork. A free basic membership offers 2GB of storage and online photo-sharing features.

Photoshop.com members can upload images directly from camera phones with a Photoshop.com Mobile beta application.
