New York — The Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) national consumer technology industry group honored
three industry leaders and set a fundraising record for itself during its annual awards tribute and dinner on Saturday, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, here.
Gregg Richard, president of P.C. Richard & Son, received the American Heritage Award; Adam Carroll,
president of New Age Electronics, received the Patricia Rienzi Legacy Award; and Michael Ahn, president and CEO of LG Electronics North America, was the recipient of the S. David Feir Humanitarian Award.
The event raised a record $850,000 and drew more than 750 guests in what Mike Vitelli, executive VP of the consumer operating group for Best Buy and industry chair of the ADL’s national consumer technology industry group, said was tremendous during a period of “unpredictability from week to week” in this industry.
