ADL To Honor Three On Nov. 10

In the wake of last week’s tragic events the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) National Electronics, Home/Office and Appliance Industries Division has switched its annual awards dinner to the New York Marriott Marquis on Saturday, Nov. 10.

The event was originally to be held on the same day at the New York Marriott World Trade Center. Judith Eileen Goldsmith, ADL’s corporate development director, quoted Mike London of Best Buy, who is the dinner chair. “He said, ‘Even if all the honorees cannot attend, we must hold this dinner. We must show that we will not be intimidated by terrorism. This is what the ADL is all about.'”

The honorees will include the following: Paul D’Arcy, executive VP of Sanyo Fisher, will receive the S. David Feir International Humanitarian Award; Roger Heuberger, executive director and chief operating officer of the Pro Group, will be presented the American Heritage Award; and Michael Todman, executive VP/North American Region of Whirlpool, will receive the Patricia Rienzi Legacy Award.

For further information on attending the event, contact Goldsmith at 212-885-7857.
